Assistant Production & Supply Chain

You work in the department “Blending”, which is the last step in our production process for sending our end product to the customer. In this department, different types of gelatin particles are mixed, ground to the right fineness, packaged, and shipped.

As your role, you provide direct support to the Blending manager.

• You support team leaders on an administrative level (processing lots in SAP, ensuring that necessary packaging labels are prepared and printed on time, personnel planning, ...).
• You manage both internal and external warehouses and have a perfect view at all times of what is available.
• As a future SAP wizard, you ensure that processing in the ERP system is correct and the image there matches reality.
• You work in daytime shifts, the production department works in 2 shifts, so you also come into contact with both production teams.

In absence of the blending manager, you ensure continuity by taking over a number of critical tasks:

• so you learn to determine which different gelatin types are used in what proportion to make the product that fully meets the customer's wishes.
• Based on your knowledge of orders and available products, you make production planning.
• Given your thorough SAP knowledge, you're the perfect person to support the logistics department from time to time.
