Assistant Physician/Physician in Ambulatory Psychiatry from June 2026

We are looking for an engaged and empathetic assistant physician for our ambulatory psychiatry team in Biel, Switzerland. This position offers a great opportunity for a psychiatrist to provide high-quality psychiatric care in a supportive and professional environment.

• You conduct psychiatric examinations and diagnose mental disorders in the outpatient setting.
• You develop and implement individualized, needs-based treatment plans.
• You prescribe and monitor psychopharmacological medications, track their effects and side effects, and adjust the medication as needed.
• You conduct psychotherapy sessions using evidence-based methods.
• You work interprofessionally with psychologists, nursing staff, social services, and family physicians to ensure comprehensive care.
• You document everything in a structured manner in the electronic patient record.
• You participate in case conferences and engage in quality improvement projects.
• You keep your knowledge of research and treatment methods up-to-date.
• You consistently adhere to Swiss health regulations and ethical standards.
