Assistant Meat Manager

Job Description This position is responsible for assisting the Department Manager in the achievement of company, store and department goals as communicated by the Store Manager and Department Manager. The performance of the duties must ensure a quality service approach to all employees, customers and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way. Major Responsibilities: Provide superior customer service and support Farm Boy’s vision of the best food store experience for our customers. This includes greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise. Assist Department Manager in achieving sales goals by maintaining high levels of product knowledge, merchandising, and visual displays. Ensure all products are properly displayed, faced, and rotated to minimize waste and maximize sales. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the meat department, by following established procedures for cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking shelves. Assist with inventory management, receiving, and stocking of products. Provide support to other departments as needed. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. Participate in company-sponsored training programs to improve product knowledge and sales skills. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a positive work environment by being respectful, courteous, and professional at all times.
