ROLE DESCRIPTION Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager supports the guidance and management of store operations, ensuring that all aspects of the store are running smoothly and efficiently. The role involves: • Assisting the Store Manager in the day-to-day management of the store, including opening and closing procedures, stock control, and visual merchandising; • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries, and resolving any issues that may arise; • Supporting the sales team by providing product knowledge, training, and coaching; • Maintaining high standards of store appearance, ensuring a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment for customers; • Assisting with inventory management, including receiving and processing deliveries, and maintaining accurate records; • Participating in visual merchandising initiatives to create an engaging shopping experience; • Collaborating with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies and promotions; • Maintaining accurate records of sales, stock, and customer interactions; • Supporting the Store Manager in managing budgets, forecasting, and reporting; • Assisting with staff training and development, including induction programs for new employees.
