Assistant Manager / Manager, Fans & Community Engagement (Community Sports)

Overview Reporting to the Executive Manager, the Assistant Manager / Manager plays a key role in supporting in overseeing the management activation, and optimisation of community facilities. This includes facilities such as the Skate Park, Beach Volleyball Courts, Basketball/Pickleball Courts, Fitness Corner, and other shared community spaces. The role is responsible for fostering strong relationships with community groups and stakeholders, as well as curating, planning, and executing community events, programs, and initiatives that promote community engagement, social cohesion, and inclusivity. This may include, but is not limited to, coordinating with community groups, planning and executing events, developing and implementing programs, and providing support and resources to community members. The role will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on program outcomes and evaluating the effectiveness of community engagement initiatives. The Assistant Manager / Manager will work closely with the Executive Manager, other community engagement staff, and external stakeholders to achieve the goals and objectives of the community engagement program. The role requires strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Assistant Manager / Manager will be expected to maintain accurate records and reports, and to adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
