Job description
Job Purpose To oversee daily injection moulding production operations, ensuring maximum equipment efficiency, stringent quality control, and optimal resource utilization. This role focuses on driving process optimization, minimizing scrap rates, and leading a high-performing technical team to meet Quality of critical Products. Key Responsibilities 1. Production & Process Optimization Manage daily production schedules to ensure targeted Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Output-vs-Plan metrics. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, resulting in increased efficiency and reduced waste. 2. Quality Control & Assurance Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify adherence to quality protocols. Identify and address any quality issues or deviations, implementing corrective actions as needed. 3. Team Leadership Lead a team of technical professionals responsible for injection moulding production operations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging open communication, collaboration, and innovation. Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team members' skills and knowledge. 4. Continuous Improvement Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to optimize production efficiency, reduce waste, and increase quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new processes and procedures. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes, making adjustments as needed. Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing) or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in injection moulding production operations, preferably in a leadership role. Strong understanding of quality control principles and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
