Job description
Job Summary The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the lodge/hotel, ensuring smooth service delivery, high guest satisfaction, and efficient staff management. This role requires strong leadership, operational knowledge, and hands-on involvement across all departments. Duties and Responsibilities • Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily lodge or hotel operations • Ensure exceptional guest service standards are consistently maintained • Supervise and coordinate activities of front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and other departments to ensure seamless operation • Develop and implement strategies for improving guest satisfaction and loyalty • Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions • Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and employee recognition • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and other financial plans • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
