JOB DESCRIPTION

ROLE MISSION

To be an agent of change within the organization, identifying opportunities for improvement and leading projects that help us work more efficiently, agilely, and sustainably. Through data analysis, Lean methodologies, and collaboration with different teams, you will contribute to optimizing processes and generating real improvements in productivity, quality, and profitability.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify improvement opportunities

  • Analyze processes in areas such as Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Quality.
  • Detect inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities to simplify and optimize the way of working.
  • Propose practical solutions that bring value to the business and the teams.

Lead continuous improvement projects

  • Design and implement initiatives based on Lean methodologies and continuous improvement (Kaizen, VSM, 5S, SMED, among others).
  • Coordinate process optimization projects from the identification of the need to the implementation and monitoring of results.
  • Ensure that improvements are sustainably integrated into daily operations.

Turn data into decisions

  • Analyze information using databases, advanced Excel, and other data analysis tools.
  • Transform data into useful information to support decision-making.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that allow for monitoring results and identifying new opportunities.

Work transversally with teams

  • Collaborate closely with different departments to understand their needs and support them in improvement projects.
  • Share knowledge and best practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and Lean thinking throughout the organization.
  • Facilitate the adoption of new tools and ways of working.

Measure impact

  • Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Evaluate the impact of implemented initiatives in terms of efficiency, productivity, quality, costs, and service.
  • Report results and learnings to ensure continuous improvement.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

An analytical person, with initiative and results orientation, who enjoys working with data, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and transforming ideas into tangible improvements for the business.

REQUIREMENTS

NECESSARY

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Organization, Process Engineering, or related fields.
  • 0-2 years in similar roles or internships related to process improvement, data analysis, or operational areas.
  • Solid knowledge of Lean tools (Kaizen, VSM, 5S, etc.).
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, data analysis).
  • Experience working with databases (SQL, Access, etc.).
  • Languages: spoken and written English to interact with global teams.

VALUABLE

  • Knowledge of optical products.
  • Knowledge of Data Science tools (Python, R, Power BI, Tableau).
