Assistant Laundry Manager

Position Summary: Supervise daily operation of the laundry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assistant Laundry Masters are a vital part of the management of the shipboard laundry facilities. He/she must possess an adequate degree of technical proficiency; the ability to lead, manage and direct the crew members working in the laundry, assess methods and procedures, knowledge of equipment and supplies, and exercise good judgment on any corrective program. The Assistant Laundry Master is accountable for ensuring that all laundry operations are carried out efficiently and effectively, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This includes monitoring and controlling the use of chemicals, detergents, and other materials used in the laundry process. He/she must also be able to identify and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance requirements, as well as maintain accurate records of all laundry operations.
