Assistant Grocery Manager

Job Description This position is responsible for assisting the Department Manager in the achievement of company, store and department goals as communicated by the Store Manager and Department Manager. The performance of the duties must ensure a quality service approach to all employees, customers and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way. Major Responsibilities: Provide superior customer service and support Farm Boy’s vision of the best food store experience for our customers. This includes ensuring that all customers are greeted warmly, their needs are met promptly and efficiently, and they leave the store feeling valued and appreciated. Assist Department Manager in achieving department goals by providing support with inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays. Ensure a clean and organized store environment by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash. Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer feedback to inform business decisions. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products. Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge.
