Job Description – AGM (Assistant General Manager) – Solar Projects Company: Genedge Renewables Pvt. Ltd. Industry: Renewable Energy (Solar – Utility Scale) Experience: 10–14 years Location: Head Office/Gujarat / Rajasthan / Project Sites- as per the requirements. Role Overview The AGM – Solar Projects will be responsible for end-to-end execution of utility-scale solar power projects across Genedge’s portfolio, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, quality, and compliance with statutory and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee project planning, development, construction, commissioning, and operation. • Ensure timely and within-budget project delivery. • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners. • Manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and other support staff. • Coordinate with internal departments for procurement, logistics, and administrative support. • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budget. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. • Develop and implement strategies for process improvements and cost savings. • Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure successful project execution. • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams. • Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects. • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project progress, costs, and other relevant metrics. • Participate in business development activities, including identifying new opportunities and developing proposals. • Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify and pursue new business opportunities. • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders. • Provide input on project proposals, bids, and tenders. • Ensure that all projects are executed in compliance with Genedge’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth and expansion within the solar industry. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices. • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge. • Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.
