Assistant General Manager / Assistenz der Hoteldirektion (m/w/d)

We are a young, growing hotel group and are looking immediately for a motivated Assistant General Manager / Assistant General Manager (m/w/d) for our hotels in Freiburg im Breisgau.

We currently operate two houses:

A hotel with 132 rooms, fitness area, sauna with small wellness and seminar areas at the outskirts of the city (Merzhausen) and a Boutique-Hotel with 42 rooms in the heart of the city with the popular bar „The Secret“.

We are looking for a creative, ambitious, and flexible personality who wants to take on responsibility and grow together with us. With further projects and hotel openings, we offer exciting development opportunities.

Tasks

• Support of the hotel director in operational and administrative daily business
• Deputy leadership of the hotel operation in absence of the directorship
• Administrative organization around hotel operation and personnel
• Planning, monitoring, and control of budgets
• Coordination of departments to ensure efficient workflows and optimal guest experiences
• Quality control and ensuring service standards
• Analysis of sales figures as well as care and optimization of sales channels and systems
• Coordination of procurement, goods, and suppliers
• Support in recruiting and onboarding new employees together with department leaders
• Guest management, complaint handling, and crisis management

Qualification

• Experience in the hotel industry, ideally with first leadership or coordination experience
• Organizational talent and hands-on mentality
• Teamwork ability, flexibility, and self-initiative
• Ambitious and creative working style
• Entrepreneurial thinking and sense of responsibility
• Very good German language skills and English language skills
