Assistant Facilities Manager (Education Sector / Multi-Site)


Our client, a prominent leader in the Facilities Management sector, is looking for a visionary Assistant Facilities Manager (Education Sector / Multi-Site) to step into a high-impact leadership role.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the main point of contact for school administrators and internal users to ensure all contracted FM services are executed seamlessly and promptly.
  • Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance visits across assigned school sites. Partner with Project Managers to oversee Infrastructure Improvement Works.
  • Conduct on-site supervision of maintenance activities to ensure high service standards. Assist Quantity Surveyors with accurate site measurements and documentation.
  • Accurately record, update, and upload all field data, inspection reports, and site records into the centralized Facilities Management software.
  • Monitor vendor SLAs and service delivery against contract specifications. Work with the Project Manager to implement immediate corrective actions when necessary.
  • Participate in and facilitate bi-annual induction and refresher training programs (conducted at least every 6 months) for site personnel.


Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Building, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in facilities management (prior exposure to educational institutions or public sector projects is highly advantageous).
  • Strong familiarity with Singapore’s building codes, BCA requirements, and WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) regulations.
  • Proficient in Facilities Management Systems (FMS), CMMS tools, and digital reporting platform operations.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Comfortable with regular mobile site visits across multiple school locations within the Northeast region.
