Assistant Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION • Responsible for the maintenance of District Cooling System (DCS) plants, Retail Cooling Monitoring (RCM) and other field works • Implement and monitor service and maintenance programme • Support analysis and optimisation of plant maintenance • Supervise and implement all maintenance processes including externally sourced contractors • Support maintenance contract management • Conduct routine inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems • Assist Engineer in calling for external assistance when necessary • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used and costs incurred • Provide technical support to other departments as required • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives • Collaborate with other teams to achieve common goals • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders • Identify and report potential hazards and near misses • Implement corrective actions for identified hazards and near misses • Conduct regular audits of maintenance activities • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately • Participate in training and development programs as required • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
