The Centre
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Lucas is a modern and welcoming early learning service located in the growing community of Lucas Ballarat. Our centre offers beautiful purpose built indoor and outdoor environments designed to support high quality learning experiences for children. We are seeking a passionate Assistant Educator to join our team and commence as soon as possible.
The Opportunity and Responsibilities
The roles and responsibilities may include but are not limited to
• Supporting children’s learning and development including contributing to the educational program and practice
• Assisting in the delivery of an approved learning framework
• Developing positive relationships with children and families
• Supporting daily routines and care practices
• Ensuring compliance with service policies and legislation
• Working collaboratively with the team to create a safe nurturing and engaging environment
About you
• Must hold Diploma or Certificate III in Education and Care
• Available to work rotating shifts between 6.30am and 6.30pm
• Able to start ASAP
• Knowledge and understanding of Children’s Services Regulations and National Quality Standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high quality care
• Current Working with Children Check
• First Aid Certificate
• Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
• Food Handlers Certificate
