Job Summary
The Assistant Driller assists the Driller in managing drilling operations, supervising rig floor activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and well control procedures.

The Assistant Driller assists the Driller in managing drilling operations, supervising rig floor activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and well control procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Driller in safe and efficient drilling operations.
- Supervise Derrickman, Floorman, and Roustabout during rig floor operations.
- Monitor drilling parameters and equipment condition.
- Ensure compliance with IWCF well control procedures.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior crew.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in drilling industry, with at least 2 years as Assistant Driller on a MODU.
- Experience also as Derrickman, Floorman, and Roustabout.
- Past experience on last-generation MODU.
- Demonstrated offshore drilling experience.
- Mandatory Certificate:
- Valid IWCF (or similar) well control course for required level (copy required, even if expired).
- All certificates and trainings required for boarding per Statutory Matrix, Training/Certificate Checklist (BNSP/Kemenaker)
