As the ADON, you will be responsible for the following: • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management. • Ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support, including developing and implementing individualized care plans. • Collaborating with other members of the care team, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure that our residents receive comprehensive and coordinated care. • Providing leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, including mentoring, coaching, and evaluating performance. • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and ensuring that our nursing department is in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure that our nursing department is running smoothly and efficiently. • Participating in budgeting and financial planning, including managing budgets and ensuring that our nursing department is operating within budget. • Collaborating with other departments, including admissions, social services, and activities, to ensure that our residents receive a comprehensive and coordinated level of care. • Participating in community outreach and education initiatives, including presenting at conferences and workshops, and developing educational materials for residents and families. • Participating in professional development opportunities, including attending conferences and workshops, and pursuing certifications and education.
