Assistant Director – Data and Analytics @ HSBC Technology Poland

What you need to have to succeed in this role Good to have knowledge of Banking domain use cases with specific applications to data science problems. 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in banking and financial sector. University degree in Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or any other quantitative related discipline, PhD or Master’s degree is highly preferred. Proficiency in using Python, SQL, or similar analytically oriented programming languages. In depth knowledge and understanding of data analytics tools and techniques, including data visualization, statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining. Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git is an advantage. Experience working with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure is also desirable.
