Assistant Cafe/Resturant Manager

Our mornings are vibrant and fast-paced, and we’re looking for someone who thrives in that energy to help lead our daytime trade. About the Role: We’re seeking a full-time, dedicated, hands-on hospitality professional to work closely with our Restaurant Manager and General Manager. You’ll assist in delivering seamless service, maintaining a lively venue atmosphere, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing inventory, controlling costs, and supporting the team. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the Restaurant Manager and General Manager in daily operations. • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all customers have an enjoyable experience. • Manage and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the venue. • Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely food delivery and presentation. • Monitor and control inventory levels, minimizing waste and optimizing stock. • Assist in managing labor costs, scheduling, and staff performance. • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and drive revenue growth. • Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and continuous learning. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve operations. Requirements: • 2+ years of experience in a similar hospitality role (café, restaurant, or bar). • Strong leadership and management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs) occasionally. • Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
