Job description

Job Description & Summary Our Fund Office Support Services (FOSS) business was established within the Asset and Wealth Managed Services (AWMS) unit in 2023. Because of the increasingly complex business and regulatory landscape as well as investors’ increased demand for transparency, many asset managers choose to outsource fund administration and reporting operations in order to focus their resources on their core portfolio management activities. Our FOSS business comprises a team of highly-skilled professionals who provide a range of services including fund accounting, investor reporting, and compliance support. The internship will be based within our FOSS team and will involve working closely with the existing team members to gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a fund administration business. This is an exciting opportunity for students or recent graduates to develop their skills and knowledge in the financial services industry. Key responsibilities: • Assist in the preparation of investor reports, including data analysis and reconciliation; • Support the processing of transactions, including cash reconciliations and journal entries; • Contribute to the development of new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce risk; • Collaborate with other team members to resolve queries and issues; • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills. The ideal candidate will have: • A strong academic record, preferably in a finance-related field; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment; • Familiarity with financial software applications such as Excel and Word; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. The internship will be for 6 months, starting in [insert start date] and ending on [insert end date]. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including: • A comprehensive induction program to help you settle into the role; • Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge; • Access to our state-of-the-art facilities and technology; • A supportive and inclusive work environment. If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please submit your application, including your CV and a covering letter outlining why you would be suitable for the role.
