Job description
Important multinational company in the construction sector needs to incorporate an Asset Manager for Wind Power Generation Assets in Mexico City.
The selected person will lead and optimize the wind O&M function, equipping operations with high Health and Safety standards, to maximize the value, operational performance, and long-term profitability of the generation portfolio, maximizing financial performance, regulatory compliance, and alignment with the company's strategic objectives. Among their functions will be:
- Define and execute the O&M strategy for wind assets throughout their entire lifecycle.
- Standardize asset management processes, governance, and KPIs across technologies and geographies.
- Maximize availability and production through proactive operational monitoring and a focus on safety.
- Oversee O&M strategies, contract compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive root cause analysis of failures and technical performance optimization.
- Coordinate everything related to energy production and sales to maximize revenue.
- Responsibility for the necessary reporting of the different projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, environmental, and HSE requirements.
- Act as an interface, when necessary, with lenders, investors, partners, OEMs, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Represent O&M in steering committees and other monitoring committees.
We are looking for a professional with:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
- More than 10 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, working in construction and/or asset management/O&M.
- Demonstrable experience working with wind assets (experience in wind farms with PPA contracts with CFE is highly valued).
