Asset & Lifecycle Manager

Description We currently have an opportunity for an Asset Manager in NZ to join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in ensuring the effective stewardship, compliance and performance of critical assets within a custodial correctional environment. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you’ll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support safe, secure and essential public services. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: • Developing and implementing asset management strategies and plans; • Conducting regular asset condition assessments and reporting on findings; • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and prioritize maintenance and repair activities; • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and standards; • Providing expert advice and guidance to the Contract Manager and other stakeholders; • Maintaining accurate records of asset performance, condition and maintenance history. What You’ll Need To Succeed In this role, you will need: • A degree in a relevant field such as engineering, construction management or a related discipline; • Proven experience in asset management, preferably within a custodial correctional environment; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant technologies.
