Job description

Location: Sunrise Confections San Jeronimo Plant

SHIFT AVAILABILITY (4 days / 12 hours)


General Purpose of the Position:

Responsible for monitoring the delivery of training, awareness, and sensitization campaigns, monitoring the maintenance and correct application of the Induction/Orientation program, properly documenting legal requirements; complying with internal policies and procedures, adequately monitoring the development of skills of direct personnel, and compliance with the annual plan.


Minimum Specifications:

Education:

  1. Bachelor's Degree and/or Engineering Degree

Skills:

Communication, Staff Training

Languages:

  1. Spanish – English desirable

Preferential Experience in:

  • Knowledge of legal aspects, facilitation and training, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel PowerPoint, Power Apps, Word, Forms, Teams Outlook, SharePoint

Desirable Experience in:

  1. Instructional material design

Key Functions:

  1. Orientation of New HiresDeliver the induction program to new hires.
  2. Apply attendance lists, exams, participant reactions.
  3. Update instructional material and maintain the Induction program
  4. Maintain training room (cleaning, room logistics)


Responsibilities:

Operational Training.

  1. Monitor training in new hire assignments.
  2. Verify the Network of Certified Trainers.
  3. Monitor the startup of assigned lines.
  4. Follow up on absenteeism and critical new hire positions.
  5. Conduct new hire surveys.
  6. Follow up on validation and certification.
  7. Deliver training to the Network of Trainers - 4-step technique
  8. Monitor training detection.
  9. Validate and certify trained personnel.
  10. Monitor equipment and/or new updates installed in their areas (Responsible parties).
  11. Follow up on certification expirations.
  12. Capture attendance lists.
  13. Update operational training materials.
  14. Generate instructional material.


Department Administration

  1. Deliver training courses (Food Safety).
  2. Facilitate and coordinate training, awareness sessions, and quality campaigns.
  3. Assist in event scheduling / and identify participants.
  4. Follow up on employee physical files.
  5. Create instructional material.
  6. Use and care for training equipment (tablets).
  7. Assist in workshops, events, and HR (presentations, video recording, information gathering, guest reception).
  8. Update certification and training matrices.
  9. Administer courses and exams on the SLS (Sunrise Learning System) Platform.


Scholarship Program

  1. Provide basic information to applicants.


Audits

  1. Generate and maintain information for department audits (Customers, STPS (Secretary of Labor and Social Welfare), Social Responsibility, C-TPAT).


Compliance with STPS Provisions.

  1. Generate DC-3 forms in a timely manner.
  2. Send DC-3s to personnel in a timely manner.


Event Logistics

  1. Verify functionality of equipment and rooms/Setup.
  2. Schedule the use of rooms and equipment.


SQF

  1. Provide training related to the prerequisite program, as well as training generated in the Food Safety and Quality Plans.
  2. Participate as an active member of internal audits.
  3. Follow up on compliance with training programs related to Food Safety and product quality.
  4. Report any incident that puts product safety or quality at risk.


C-TPAT

  1. Supervise necessary training for C-TPAT program compliance.
  2. Carry out activities while always ensuring the security of materials.
  3. Report any incident that puts the physical security of the facilities or materials at risk.
  4. Respect restricted plant areas.


Key Performance Indicators:

  • 100% compliance with legal aspects of STPS training.
  • 0 Non-conformities in SQF and Customer Audits
  • 100% compliance with Food Safety Training.
  • Administration and organization of department records


Authority:

  1. Management of the training room.
  2. Follow-up and guidance on the On-the-Job Training process.
