Category/Purchasing Assistant

Job Objective:

Provide operational and analytical support to buyers in different categories through catalog administration, price management, monitoring commercial indicators, and executing administrative activities related to purchasing, contributing to the achievement of sales, margin, inventory turnover, and commercial competitiveness objectives.

What will you do?

• Administer and track the product catalog.
• Analyze sales, inventory, and price movements.
• Provide support to buyers in strategic categories.
• Generate reports and insights for decision-making.
• Coordinate commercial processes with different areas and suppliers.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Administration, Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in purchasing, retail, e-commerce, commercial planning, or business analysis.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• High sense of urgency and ability to work in dynamic environments.
• Interest in commercial business and managing perishable categories (a plus).

Experience

• 1 to 3 years in Purchasing (Essential)
• Commercial Planning
• Retail
• E-commerce
• Supply or Supply Chain
