Research Assistant – Python / Machine Learning Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Automation, Telecommunications, or a similar field (Master's degree is an advantage).
Solid Python knowledge.
Experience with Pandas and NumPy.
Minimal experience in text processing.
Experience with Git.
Basic knowledge of APIs, Docker, and distributed systems concepts.
Experience in training ML models and hyperparameter optimization is an advantage.

Location: Remote
We are looking for a Python ML Engineer for a fixed-term individual employment contract (CIM), for 8 months.
You will develop Python components for data processing, including pipelines, transformations, and validations.
You will work on text processing, from cleaning and normalization to feature engineering and evaluation.
You will train and iterate ML models, including hyperparameter tuning (experience is an advantage).
You will integrate the solution using distributed systems concepts, APIs, Docker containers, and version control with Git.
You will contribute to technical decisions related to performance, quality, and architectural trade-offs.
