Asphalt Site Supervisor

Asphalt work is essential for a safe and accessible Netherlands. Asphalt roads must be carefully constructed and maintained, often under time pressure and with minimal disruption to the surroundings. As a (Junior) Asphalt Site Supervisor, you ensure that these outdoor activities run smoothly and safely. This way, you directly contribute to the quality of Dutch infrastructure and proudly drive over the work you have created yourself.

Make it possible

As a (Junior) Asphalt Site Supervisor, you are responsible for the daily management of asphalt activities at project locations. You usually start the day around 06:30 AM at the project location, but this can also be 8:00 PM in the evening. We ensure a good balance between day/night and weekend work. You discuss the work with the asphalt crew, coordinate with involved parties, and ensure that the work is carried out safely and according to schedule. You are not alone: you work with an experienced senior site supervisor and grow step by step in the profession. Digital, automated, and emission-free work is the new normal; machines record the quality of the work done, and surveying is increasingly done digitally. You embrace this and make optimal use of it together with your crew.

Your activities include, among others:

• Managing and guiding your asphalt crew on location.
• Monitoring the schedule, progress, execution, and taking action for unexpected circumstances.
• Overseeing safety and compliance with work agreements.
• Coordinating with the asphalt project manager, project team, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Learning to monitor the quality of the finished product.
• Creating daily reports for both financial and qualitative goals.

Your team

You will work at various project locations in Brabant, Zeeland, and partly in East Netherlands. You are part of an asphalt team with site supervisors, work planners, and execution crews. Within the team, there is a senior site supervisor who will guide you. The work takes place mostly outdoors, with irregular working hours depending on the project.

• A salary commensurate with your experience and development within the Construction & Infra collective labor agreement, aligned with the site supervisor profile and excluding 8% holiday pay.

You recognize yourself in this

• A technical background, preferably in infra, civil engineering, or road construction.
• A junior profile is possible; experience as a site supervisor is not required.
• Willingness to work in the evening, at night, and on weekends.
• Basic insight into organizing and managing work.
• Interest in developing into a hot asphalt specialist.
