We are looking for an AI Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer

What we are looking for

We are a fast-growing Italian startup and we are looking for an AI Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer who wants to contribute to the development of innovative, scalable, and production-ready Artificial Intelligence solutions.

Main responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Machine Learning and Deep Learning models
• Develop solutions based on LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Design training, inference, and model deployment pipelines
• Evaluate and improve performance in terms of accuracy, latency, and inference costs
• Integrate AI models into business applications and processes
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to develop scalable and value-oriented solutions
• Monitor and optimize models in production according to MLOps best practices

What we are looking for

• Proven experience in designing, training, validating, and optimizing end-to-end machine learning and deep learning models
• Advanced mastery of reference frameworks and their training/inference pipelines
• Solid skills in feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and model evaluation on real-world, high-volume datasets
• Ability to work in an iterative logic, with rapid experimentation cycles and continuous improvement of performance (accuracy, latency, inference cost)
• Familiarity with MLOps environments for model deployment and monitoring in production
• A mindset focused on business results, not just technical metrics
