Job Advert – Art Teacher (Secondary School) Position: Art Teacher Location: Lancaster Start Date: October 2025 Contract: 4 days per week, Fixed-term until February Half Term 2026 We are looking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join our secondary school team from October until February half term. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and engage pupils through high-quality teaching and a passion for the arts. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons according to the curriculum, develop and implement schemes of work, assess pupil progress and provide feedback, contribute to departmental planning and development, participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Fine Arts, Education or a related field, teaching qualification (QTS), experience of teaching Art in a secondary school setting, ability to inspire and motivate pupils, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility and adaptability.
