Art Director (M/F/D)

For our Berlin location, we are looking for an Art Director. Someone who not only thinks in concepts but also brings them to life visually. Whether it's animated social assets, digital campaigns, or classic print formats, you shape communication that sticks. In the mind. In the heart. On the screen.

MWD is a 360° creative agency with a digital focus in Frankfurt/Main and Berlin. Since 2012, we have been working in a small team for large brands. With our long-standing clients from the lifestyle, travel, entertainment, and sports sectors, we cultivate trusting partnerships and are closely involved in the direction and development of the respective brands and their diverse products through intensive and direct collaboration.

Position:
Art Director

As an Art Director, you will work independently and in close coordination with account management and project management on diverse projects for renowned clients. You have a feel for strong ideas, an eye for typography, color, and composition. You are good with clients and stand for the highest quality in project execution. Furthermore, you are able to connect various projects, overall strategy, and general market trends to create added value for our clients. Tasks

• Concept and design of innovative and sustainable brand communication (digital, animated, and print)

• Development and implementation of assets for social media, digital campaigns, websites & presentations

• Design of online advertising materials, mailings, newsletters, and classic print products

• Creation of convincing client and pitch presentations with a strong visual language

• Independent organization and execution of your projects in close exchange with account management and clients

Qualifications

• Professional experience in an agency or creative environment

• Strong sense for design, typography, and visual concepts

• Experience in designing for digital and analog media (web, social, print)

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, ideally also Figma, Sketch, etc. (Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus)

• Knowledge in motion design (After Effects, Premiere Pro (or similar) are your daily tools)

• Independent, structured way of working and high quality standards

• Joy of innovation, curiosity for new tools, and a good sense for trends

• Team spirit, openness, and a desire to actively contribute to projects
