Art Director (m/f/d) - Brand & Digital Design

You've already gained a few years of agency experience and now want to not just design brands, but visually shape them? As an Art Director, you will take on your own design projects from idea to implementation with us – with an experienced Senior Art Director by your side who will challenge and support you. This way, you will grow into more responsibility step by step.

Responsibilities

This is what you'll do specifically:

• You will design corporate designs, brand identities, and logos for B2B and B2C clients – for major rebrandings, together with the Senior Art Director
• You will develop and implement cross-media campaigns for print, digital, and social media
• You will independently manage 3–4 design projects concurrently, from concept to final artwork
• You will translate briefs into visual concepts and develop multiple design directions from them
• You will present your drafts internally and together with Account Management or Senior Art Director to the client
• You will create and maintain style guides, brand guidelines, and templates for various touchpoints
• You will produce motion and video content for social media and campaigns
• You will work closely with Account Management and Copywriting

Qualifications

Must-have Skills:

• 3–4 years of professional experience as a (Junior) Art Director, Communications Designer, or Graphic Designer, ideally in an agency
• Completed degree or training in Communication Design, Graphic Design, or Media Design
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Experience in corporate design and campaign development
• Initial experience with motion design (After Effects or similar)
• A portfolio with brand and campaign projects in which you were significantly involved
• A good feel for typography, color, layout, and digital requirements (Responsive, Social Formats)

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Knowledge of Figma or other UI/UX tools
• Experience with AI tools in image and content production
• Print production know-how and pre-press
• Packaging design or basic 3D skills (Cinema 4D, Blender)
• Initial experience in guiding interns or junior designers

Personally, you are:

• Creative and curious, with your own standards for quality and detail
• Eager to learn and open to feedback – you want to develop into a Senior
• Structured and reliable, even when multiple deadlines are pending
• Communicative and team-oriented
• Trend-aware, but with an eye for what suits the brand
