Art Director Digital (all genders) – Stuttgart

LIGANOVA HORIZON is a digital experience agency for international brands and part of the LIGANOVA GROUP. We develop digital experiences, campaigns, and visual systems at the intersection of creation, technology, and innovation – with a clear focus on the digital space of today and tomorrow.

As an Art Director for our team in Stuttgart, you will develop holistic visual concepts for phygital brand experiences, retail and event formats, campaigns, and brandings for clients in the Automotive & Mobility, Industry & Tech, Healthcare, and Consumer Electronics sectors. You will accompany ideas from the first sketch to rollout, ensuring they are conceptually strong, precisely designed, and consistently implemented across physical and digital touchpoints.

• Development of visual concepts, designs, and brandings for brand experiences, retail and event formats, as well as campaigns for international brands
• Conceptual leadership of projects – from the initial idea, through the development of creative routes, to final rollout
• Cross-media design at the intersection of physical space and digital touchpoints
• Close collaboration with Strategy, Motion, 3D, Creative Technology, and Development
• Ensuring high design quality and consistent brand impact across all relevant touchpoints

• Two to five years of professional experience as an Art Director or Designer in a creative or design agency
• Portfolio with realized client projects and a clearly recognizable conceptual handwriting – from idea to design
• A keen sense for typography, composition, and design details
• Strength in Brand Experience, Retail, and Events, as well as proficiency in classic campaigns and branding
• Spatial and cross-media thinking at the intersection of physical and digital space
• Proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Keynote
• Knowledge of Motion Design, moving images, and 3D, particularly in After Effects and Cinema 4D, is an advantage
• Experience in the targeted use of AI as a practical tool in the conception and design process – not as a buzzword
• Ability to prepare concepts clearly and present them convincingly both internally and in client meetings
• Fluent German and English language skills
