Job description

Baptist Health Urgent Care is looking for experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team in Little Rock, AR. JOB SUMMARY: This position will perform x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Operates diagnostic equipment, develops film and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure, as well as perform Medical Assistant duties. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties and responsibilities are essential to this role: • Perform x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. • Operate diagnostic equipment. • Develop film. • Prepare the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. • Perform Medical Assistant duties. • Maintain accurate records and reports. • Participate in quality control activities to ensure compliance with established standards. • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide patient care. • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and visitors. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment. • Perform other duties as assigned by management. REQUIREMENTS: • ARRT (R) or Limited License X-Ray Technologist certification. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program preferred. • One year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably as an x-ray technologist. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
