The Role: Armed Response and Tactical Officer

This role is ideal for experienced, certified professionals who are passionate about tactical response and armed protection. You will conduct armed patrols, respond to high-risk incidents, manage threats, and ensure client safety with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct armed security patrols across residential, commercial, and industrial areas

• Respond rapidly to alarms, armed intrusions, and distress signals

• Manage and assess incidents, escalating to law enforcement when necessary

• Carry and operate legal firearms in compliance with PSIRA and SAPS regulations

• Monitor and operate advanced security systems, including CCTV and alarms

• Maintain detailed incident and response reports for clients and management

• Liaise with clients to address safety concerns and provide reassurance

• Ensure strict compliance with security and firearms regulations

• Apply conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques where needed

• Maintain high physical fitness and tactical readiness through ongoing training

About You

• Minimum PSiRA Grade C certification

• SAPS competency certificate

• South African Professional Firearm Trainers Council statement of results

• Valid drivers license and own vehicle

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an Armed Response Officer

• Excellent firearms handling and tactical response skills

• Strong communication and client-facing abilities

• Physically fit, disciplined, and able to perform under pressure

• Committed to ongoing training and professional development
