Area Manager - General Merchandise Distribution Sector

A company operating in the sector of Great Distribution Organization is looking for an Area Manager to be inserted into the organizational chart.

The selected figure will be responsible for the efficiency and success of the area of competence, with a focus on performance, development, and optimization of processes.

Main tasks:

• Management and coordination of points of sale: supervise daily operations of stores, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with company standards
• Team management: select, train, and motivate store managers and personnel, supporting them in achieving their goals
• Performance analysis: monitor KPIs, analyze sales results, and define corrective actions to improve performance
• Inventory and assortment management: optimize product offerings and stock control at each point of sale
• Implementation of company policies: ensure the application of commercial, promotional, and customer care policies within stores
• Reporting: prepare periodic reports on store performance and market developments for management.

Required qualifications:

• Prior experience of at least 3-5 years in leadership roles within the GDO or retail sector
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Analytical skills for evaluating results and defining improvement plans
• Problem-solving skills and goal-oriented mindset
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
• Availability for frequent travel between stores in the area of competence.
