Pets In Peace , part of the InvoCare Group , is Queensland's leading provider of pet cremation services, operating across Clontarf, Ipswich, and Loganholme. We proudly partner with veterinary practices and their clients to offer respectful and dignified pet cremation services. About the Role Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Area Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of our Ipswich location, ensuring the efficient and compassionate delivery of our services. Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the Ipswich site, including operations, staff, and facilities. Ensure all services are delivered with the highest standards of care and compassion. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to a small team of dedicated staff. Foster a positive and supportive work environment. Manage client interactions with empathy and professionalism. Oversee the preparation of deceased pets for cremation, ensuring dignity and respect. Coordinate cremation processes, including scheduling and documentation. Maintain accurate records and adhere to all relevant regulations and procedures. Manage inventory and supplies. What You'll Bring Proven experience in a leadership or management role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and empathetic support. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A genuine passion for animal welfare.
