System Architect (Mobile Applications)

Project for a client from the insurance industry

Work mode: remotely / optionally Warsaw

Join the project for a client from the insurance sector as a System Architect, specializing in the design of mobile applications. As part of the project, you will be responsible for designing and supervising the architecture of the mobile application and domain systems in an enterprise environment.

Scope of responsibility

• Designing and implementing enterprise-class solutions in the architecture of mobile applications, integrations and API.

• Defining and supervising CI/CD processes (Jenkins, Groovy), managing Git repositories (branching, PR, code review).

• Architecture and operations on Kubernetes (networking, security, HPA, RBAC, namespaces, Ingress/Service Mesh).

• Configuration and deployment management (Helm, environment values, version promotion).

• Monitoring and observability (Grafana, alerting; Prometheus/Loki/Tempo is welcome).

• Security design and SSO (SAML 2.0, RBAC, OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS).

• Creating technical documentation and diagrams (C4/UML), conducting architectural reviews and mentoring teams.

Requirements and experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise-class solutions in the architecture of mobile applications.

• Documented experience in Kubernetes, Helm, Docker/BuildKit and CI/CD with Jenkins.

• Knowledge of IaC tools, including Terraform, ArgoCD and FluxCD.

• Experience in designing APIs (REST/GraphQL), integration with API Gateway

• Ability to design systems with SSO/SAML 2.0 and RBAC and manage security in an enterprise environment.

• Practice in creating technical documentation and architectural diagrams (C4, UML, ADR).

• Experience in Microsoft Azure cloud, additionally AWS or GCP is welcome.

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, OpenTelemetry).

• Certificates are welcome: CKA, CKAD, Grafana or other cloud certificates.
