System Architect

Remuneration: 1400 - 1600 PLN/MD on B2B Work mode: hybrid (1 day a week from the office in Warsaw) Why choose this offer? Project You will join the team developing the Everest system, supporting the property insurance area. The project focuses on modernizing the existing architecture, gradual migration to a microservice environment, and utilizing the capabilities of a private cloud. We are looking for an experienced Architect who will co-create the system's development vision, support development teams in making technological decisions, and ensure high quality and scalability of solutions. Required competencies: Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and supervising system architecture Very good knowledge of Java and Spring Experience in designing scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant distributed systems Very good knowledge of architectural patterns and integration practices Experience working with cloud and infrastructure automation Ability to conduct code reviews, mentoring, and architectural workshops Experience in creating technology roadmaps and assessing architectural risks Practical knowledge of end-to-end observability Experience in API Governance Practical knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) Experience with Event-Driven Architecture Knowledge of English at B2+ level Readiness to provide services from the territory of Poland Scope of responsibilities: Designing and developing the Everest system architecture Co-creating the migration strategy from monolithic architecture to microservice architecture Managing and reducing technical debt Defining directions for the development of modern IT solutions Supporting development teams in terms of architecture and best technical practices Conducting technical consultations and participating in solution design Collaboration on feasibility analyses and developing architectural assumptions Designing and documenting system architecture Identifying, evaluating, and implementing new technologies Co-creating and developing the organization's technological standards Supporting improvements in the development process and fostering a DevOps culture Nice to have: Experience with Agentic SDLC Knowledge of Multi-Cloud strategies Advanced practical knowledge of DDD Awareness and optimization of cloud costs Experience in defining and implementing technological standards within an organization Technologies you will work with: Java Spring Framework / Spring Boot Microservices Event-Driven Architecture Cloud & Infrastructure Automation Domain-Driven Design (DDD) API Governance Observability & Monitoring DevOps Client – why choose this client from JIT's portfolio?
