IT Systems Architect

We are looking for an IT Systems Architect to join our architectural team implementing one of the largest IT transformation programs for the public sector. We are working on building the National Health Fund Integrated Information System – a comprehensive solution supporting key areas of NFZ's operations. This is a long-term and extensive program, within which a series of interconnected systems and services are being created to meet the diverse business needs of the organization. The project is implemented in cooperation with many software and IT service providers. As an Integrator, we are responsible for the consistency and quality of the architecture of the entire solution, supporting the integration of individual systems, ensuring software quality, and preparing solutions for further maintenance and operation. We are looking for someone with a solid technical background to join our team, who wants to develop in the area of architecture, working on the design of complex, large-scale, and significant IT systems. If you are interested in systems architecture, integrating multiple technologies, and working on solutions used nationwide, this role might be for you. We prefer hybrid work in one of our offices in Warsaw, Krakow, or Poznan. Remote work is possible. Your responsibilities will include: • Working in a team of IT Systems Architects and close cooperation with the Enterprise Architect, Business Analysts, and other teams involved in the program implementation. • Overseeing the documentation of IT solutions architecture, including ensuring its quality, consistency, and compliance with architectural standards. • Reviewing documentation and solutions delivered by external contractors and formulating recommendations regarding the architecture of the systems being designed and the selection of technological solutions. • Participating in Architecture Council meetings and supporting the decision-making process regarding IT systems architecture and implemented technologies. • Creating, developing, and maintaining high-level architectural documentation and ensuring its currency in response to changing business needs and the technological environment. • Supporting project teams in developing coherent, scalable, and maintainable architectural solutions. Ideally, you possess: • Knowledge of UML notation and experience in documenting IT systems architecture, particularly using the Sparx Enterprise Architect tool. • Good knowledge of modern approaches to systems architecture design, including microservices architecture and container-based solutions. • Very good knowledge of the Polish language, both spoken and written. • ArchiMate Foundation and/or TOGAF 9 certifications – will be an additional asset.
