PIT-RADWAR S.A. is one of the leading suppliers of professional electronics equipment for the Polish Armed Forces. For several decades, the Company has been conducting research and development work in the field of radar, radioelectronic reconnaissance systems, automation and command support systems, and related weapon systems, especially anti-aircraft ones. PIT-RADWAR S.A. products are in service with all branches of the Polish Armed Forces as well as in the equipment of foreign armies. PIT-RADWAR S.A. handles the full product supply cycle from requirements definition, through R&D, design work, production, up to logistical support offered to users. About the project: In connection with the dynamic development of the national defense industry, and current geopolitical needs in this area, we are looking for a person to act as a Command and Control Systems Architect (M/F). This person will join the team responsible for designing and creating distributed systems intended for use in the air defense, anti-missile, and anti-drone domains. These are specialized IT systems dedicated to user needs, intended to support reconnaissance, action planning, command and control processes, as well as reconnaissance and combat operations. Such IT solutions are responsible for collecting information from the sensor- and effector-saturated battlefield, and recommend decision-making using AI (Artificial Intelligence) and ML (Machine Learning) mechanisms for reconnaissance, active neutralization, and defense. Your scope of duties: High-level design and modeling of C4ISR systems and their components, Analysis of requirements and functional decomposition of the system, Analysis of military and commercial normative documents, Feasibility assessment and acceptance of technical requirements, Proposing solutions based on knowledge of software development trends, the latest technologies, and normative documents, Estimation of software implementation effort, Maintenance of documentation for the designed architecture, Supervision and coordination of implementation and integration work of internal teams and subcontractors, Participation in system commissioning and integration work, Cooperation with development teams, system analysts, and the User, Support in internal and acceptance tests (UAT). Our expectations: Higher education, preferably in Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications, or related fields, Minimum 3 years of experience in designing IT systems architecture and software, Minimum 3 years of programming experience in at least one of the following languages: JAVA, C++, Ability to define and document software architecture in UML notation, Practical knowledge of design and architectural patterns, Knowledge in the field of teleinformatics security, Desire to build domain knowledge, Knowledge of techniques and tools supporting the software development process (especially CI), Knowledge of UML for defining system architectures, Knowledge of the functioning and structure of IT systems (operating systems, network protocols and devices) and communication systems, English language proficiency allowing for free communication and reading technical documentation, Ability to cooperate in an interdisciplinary team. Nice to have: Experience related to the broadly understood defense domain (including Air Defense OPL) acquired in combat Military Units or MON institutions, Experience in programming and designing solutions using GIS and middleware, especially in the area of reactive systems, Knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., NAF, TOGAF), Experience in creating cross-platform software (Linux/Windows), Practical knowledge of computer science - data structures, algorithms, computational complexity, concurrent and parallel processing, asynchronicity, etc., Knowledge of OOP paradigm, SOLID, GRASP, CQRS, key design patterns, Event-driven programming, Knowledge of Git, GitLab, JIRA, Jenkins, Confluence, Artifactory, Knowledge of JAVA stack, Swing, Spring boot, Hibernate, JUnit, OSGi, Knowledge of C++ stack; STL, Boost.
