About the Project

Do you want to influence the development of key technologies in the bank? Due to intensive development, we are looking for a person for the position of Central Banking System (CSB) Architect. Your task will be to shape the CSB architecture, ensuring the implementation of the Bank's business and technological strategy. In cooperation with business units and IT experts, you will set development directions, caring for functional development, system flexibility, and its cost-effectiveness.

CSB, in addition to the core banking area, includes in particular the general ledger, cards, electronic banking applications, payment and clearing systems, treasury, enforcement proceedings, factoring, management information, and reporting.

Your Responsibilities

• analysis of business requirements in terms of possibility and method of their implementation in IT systems.
• cooperation with business and bank architects and the supplier in defining requirements and designing solutions.
• verification of supplier quotes in terms of the reasonableness and laboriousness of analytical, programming, and testing work.
• identification of opportunities for optimizing software development costs and controlling the correctness of settlements.
• support of the procurement process and price negotiations by preparing business and technical argumentation.
• developing knowledge about functionalities and solutions used in banking systems.

Our Requirements

• good knowledge of the architecture, data structure, and functional areas of Asseco Def3000 systems.
• experience working with Asseco systems, preferably in the area of business or system analysis.
• practical knowledge of analyzing and designing API-based integrations.
• ability to break down complex business requirements into smaller technological components and assess the adequacy of supplier quotes.
• ability to substantively argue and defend the bank's position in contacts with the supplier.

Nice to have

• knowledge of IT project effort estimation methodologies (e.g., IFPUG, COSMIC, or own market models used in Core Banking systems),
• experience in supplier relations: practice in negotiating IT contracts (including T&M - Time and Materials and Fixed Price contracts) and verifying commercial offers from large software suppliers.
