Enterprise Architect - Communications Distribution Designer

The Digital Services and Real Estate of the House of Commons are currently seeking to fill the position of communications distribution designer (enterprise architect).

The Digital Services and Real Estate work according to a product-based model. As a communications distribution designer, you will provide guidance and direction on best practices for cabling and network infrastructure design, cable management, computer network security, internet telephony, optical networks, and wireless networks. This position is essential for the research and evaluation of new concepts, approaches, and technologies. You will formulate recommendations at the organizational level to improve new buildings, heritage buildings, and projects related to systems.

In addition, you will work closely with stakeholders during the development, planning, and execution phases of various projects by contributing to the establishment of objectives, constraints, and requirements, in the context of communications distribution design, to ensure that projects are compliant with the House of Commons' policies and industry standards.
