The Opportunity

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Data Solutions Architect to join our Montreal office and play a key role with our clients.

You will be involved in various mandates including:

·       Cloud Modernization;

·       Design of Data Lake and Lakehouse platforms;

·       Advanced analytics and artificial intelligence related projects;

·       Data governance and quality.

Our consultants work with organizations that already have several years of Cloud maturity, possess large-scale data platforms, and are investing in strategic initiatives driven by their Data departments.

At the interface between technical teams, business stakeholders, and delivery teams, you will support our clients in defining their vision, designing their solutions, and implementing their Data programs.

Your Responsibilities

Architecture and Consulting

·       Conduct audits, diagnostics, and maturity assessments of data platforms;

·       Understand business challenges and client needs to propose the most suitable solutions;

·       Develop roadmaps and strategic recommendations;

·       Design modern, scalable, and secure data architectures;

·       Participate in technology choices and the evolution of our clients' Data platforms;

·       Support clients in their transformation and modernization initiatives.

Pre-sales and Client Relationship

·       Participate in pre-sales activities and strategic discussions with clients;

·       Present, defend, and simplify technical solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders;

·       Facilitate discovery, scoping, and needs gathering workshops;

·       Act as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders.

Management and Delivery

·       Support delivery teams in the implementation of defined solutions;

·       Ensure consistency between business needs, technological directions, and deliverables;

·       Participate in project governance and initiative tracking;

·       Contribute to the quality, robustness, and sustainability of deployed solutions.

Technical Leadership

·       Support and coach junior and intermediate consultants;

·       Participate in the skill development of the Data practice;

·       Contribute to the visibility and evolution of agileDSS's expertise.

Profile Sought

Experience

·       Minimum of 10 years of experience in Data, analytics, or business intelligence;

·       Significant experience in designing data architectures and analytical solutions;

·       Demonstrated experience in a solutions architect role;

·       Experience in project management or coordination;

·       Experience in a consulting or client-facing role.

Technological Expertise

You have significant experience in at least one of the following environments:

·       AWS;

·       Snowflake;

·       Microsoft Fabric.

Knowledge of other Cloud and analytics platforms is an asset.

Skills Sought

·       Ability to understand, challenge, and translate business needs into concrete technological solutions;

·       Excellent communication and presentation skills;

·       Ability to engage with technical, business, and executive stakeholders;

·       Strong leadership and ability to influence decisions;

Languages

·       Fluent French;

·       English proficiency allowing effective interaction with clients, partners, and colleagues in a bilingual environment.
