This is an exciting chapter for Green by Nature in maintaining and enhancing Nelson’s stunning parks and reserves; and we’re looking for a passionate Arborist to help us bring this vision to life.

About the role:

Reporting to our Senior Arborist and working alongside a team of experienced professionals, you’ll be hands-on in all aspects of tree maintenance across the Nelson region. This includes pruning, shaping, removals, reductions, and general tree care – all while ensuring the highest standards of safety for yourself, your team, and the public.

Our crew takes great pride in their work, and it shows in the quality and care they bring to every job.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• A National Certificate in Arboriculture – Level 4 (or equivalent) and solid hands-on experience
• A strong safety-first mindset and commitment to safe work practices
• A reliable, punctual, and positive attitude with a collaborative spirit
• Great communication skills and accurate record keeping
• A genuine passion for the arboriculture industry and being part of a high-performing team
