What You’ll Do
- Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners to support timely and effective financial processes
- Manage and follow up on outstanding items while maintaining strong working relationships
- Communicate with a business-first mindset, balancing firmness with professionalism when addressing sensitive matters
- Collaborate closely with operational teams to understand project timelines, billing nuances, and workflow challenges
- Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and recommend enhancements, even when systems are functioning well
- Support ad hoc projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and transparency across the business
- A background in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
- Experience working in an operationally driven environment; exposure to construction or project-based industries is strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders
- Sound business judgment and the ability to handle challenging conversations with professionalism and composure
- A proactive mindset; someone who looks for ways to improve and isn’t afraid to suggest changes
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, in-office environment
