We’re looking for a full-time Aquatics Director to lead the aquatic operations across our two locations in North York and Vaughan. In this role, you’ll oversee a team of Aquatics Managers, unify systems across campuses, and ensure top-tier program delivery, safety, and community engagement. You’ll play a key role in setting the vision and driving growth for aquatics programming that serves thousands annually.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight

• Standardize procedures and safety practices across both campuses
• Ensure exceptional service and reliable incident response
• Work closely with Facilities to maintain pool quality and equipment

Program Growth & Strategy

• Develop group lessons, certifications, and seasonal programming
• Drive 5% year-over-year revenue growth
• Maximize pool usage and satisfaction

Team Leadership

• Support and guide Aquatics Managers
• Create pathways for training and certifying staff
• Promote a positive and accountable team culture

Community Connection

• Collect and act on participant feedback
• Integrate aquatics with other community programs

Financial & Safety Management

• Oversee department budgeting and performance tracking
• Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and preparedness

The Person

• 7+ years in aquatics leadership
• Experience managing multi-site or large teams
• Strong background in budgeting ($2million+), staffing, and program development
• Holds current certifications (First Aid, CPR-C, AED, National Lifeguard, Swim Instructor)
• Pool Operator certification is a plus
• Knowledge about Jewish holidays and culture or open to learning
