Apprenticeship as an Installation Electrician with Federal VET Diploma (CFC)

The installation electrician installs, connects, and commissions electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This technical and manual profession allows you to work in the field, as part of a team, while discovering modern and varied technologies.

• Install and lay cables and conduits
• Install and connect electrical panels, cabinets, and equipment
• Mount devices (sockets, switches, lighting, etc.)
• Perform measurements, checks, and commissioning
• Read and interpret electrical plans and diagrams
• Collaborate with other building trades

• Completed compulsory schooling (intermediate or higher level)
• Good knowledge of mathematics and geometry
• No color vision deficiency
• Interest in electricity and practical work
• Manual dexterity, precision, and a sense of responsibility
• Ability to work in a team, autonomy, and motivation

Duration of Apprenticeship: 3 years
