Apprenticeship Consultant - Hobart, TAS We have an exciting opportunity and are currently looking for an enthusiastic, positive and energetic person to join our team in within the Hobart region in TAS. The Apprenticeship Consultant role encompasses promoting Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships at the local level. The Apprenticeship Consultant will proactively support employers, apprentices and stakeholders with navigating the apprenticeship framework and potential incentives. It is essential that the successful candidate has a strong understanding of the Australian Apprenticeships system and its benefits to both employers and employees. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their knowledge and experience in promoting apprenticeships and traineeships, and have a strong understanding of the local job market and industry trends. Key responsibilities include: • Providing information and guidance to employers on the benefits of Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships; • Assisting employers with the recruitment and selection process for apprentices and trainees; • Supporting apprentices and trainees in their transition from education to employment; • Building relationships with local stakeholders, including industry associations, training providers and community groups; • Identifying and addressing barriers to participation in Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships; • Developing and implementing strategies to promote the benefits of Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships to employers and employees. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field (e.g. human resources, education, business) or equivalent experience. A strong understanding of the Australian Apprenticeships system and its benefits is essential. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a National Police Check and hold a valid driver's license.
