Apprentice Cook

Lunch, diner, conference and banqueting events. From a table for 2 to an event of 1,000 people, all aspects of cooking come into play as an apprentice cook in our hotel. And just that variety makes your day. Because wherever you stand, you take care together with your colleagues to provide a true experience for our guests at Mövenpick in Amsterdam.

At Mövenpick we make moments, do you?

You are the supporting factor of our team. Is it quiet? Then it's time for you to help with preparations. Is it busy? Then you're the one who supports other cooks with the task you've been given. A well-running kitchen is what we strive for. We don't bother with washing up, so we can focus on more important things. You are also responsible for hygiene in the kitchen and make sure everything is spotless. As soon as you see that supplies are needed, you let it be known. Do you have a top idea for a new recipe? Share it with us too. We're one team, one task, and you're part of it. No limits to your abilities.

By the way, you:

• are a student following a training program to become a cook at level 2, 3 or 4;
• are a curious and ambitious person. You won't shy away from a challenge;
• are clean in nature. You keep your own station clean and help others when needed;
• are good in English. Given our international roots, English is the primary language on the work floor.
