Application Manager for Clinical Applications
The Directorate of Technology and Innovation (DTI) is responsible for the technology management of the Insel Gruppe. We are looking for an Application Manager to ensure the operation of medical applications and systems in the Clinical Applications team.
What awaits you
- Together with your team, you will be responsible for the operation, further development, and life cycle management of your applications, ensuring comprehensive documentation and the budgeting of financial resources.
- You will be the interface between clinics, IT, and external service providers.
- You will analyze requirements and transform them into sustainable solutions in compliance with the processes and standards of the Insel Gruppe's IT department.
- You will ensure system availability, perform error analyses, and propose improvements to support clinical processes.
- You will plan and coordinate updates, releases, and rollouts in close coordination with the clinics.
- You will actively participate in the implementation of data protection and data security policies - especially in handling sensitive patient data and will lead smaller projects.
What you bring
- Completed higher education as an IT specialist, e.g., Business Informatics, Medical Informatics.
- Ideally, professional experience in healthcare or a hospital environment, as well as experience in application management according to ITIL.
- Good knowledge in the operation of operating systems, complex IT infrastructures, and database systems.
- Analytical, networked thinking, as well as conceptual and planning skills.
- Independent, structured, proactive work approach and high initiative.
- Experience with AI and cloud solutions is a plus, and knowledge in information and data security rounds off your profile.
- Leadership, organizational, and planning skills, coupled with good communication skills, also distinguish you.
