As an Applications Engineer/Technician in industrial image processing, you are responsible for developing and implementing image processing solutions in various industrial applications. Your main task is to analyze customer-specific requirements, develop solution concepts, and accompany the implementation of image processing projects. You will work closely with customers, sales teams, product managers, and internal development departments.

Your Tasks:

• Requirements Analysis: You conduct conversations with customers to understand their specific requirements for image processing and document them. In doing so, you identify technical and functional requirements and consider the individual framework conditions of customer projects.
• Solution Development: Based on the requirements analysis, you develop tailored image processing solutions. You evaluate suitable camera systems, optics, lighting techniques, and image processing algorithms to achieve the best results.
• System Integration: You are responsible for integrating the image processing solution into the existing customer infrastructure. This includes connecting to control units, robot systems, or other automation components.
• Prototype Development and Testing: You create prototypes of the image processing systems and conduct comprehensive tests to ensure functionality and performance. In doing so, you optimize the systems to guarantee high accuracy and reliability.
• User Training and Support: You train customers in using the image processing systems and offer technical support during the implementation and operation phase. When problems arise, you are responsible for analyzing and resolving errors.
• Technology Trends and Further Development: You follow current developments and trends in industrial image processing and bring your knowledge into optimizing existing solutions as well as developing new products.

Your Profile:

• SUCCESSFUL completion of training or studies in the fields of electronics, computer science, or automation
• Knowledge in handling software products, optional experiences in software development with C/C++, C#
• Developed analytical thinking and active, self-responsible, and structured work style
• Interest in participating in projects
• Ideal candidate: Knowledge in the field of camera technology/image processing/automation
